Resident guide
Accessible Plano
Last verified October 11, 2026
Accessibility details are often missing or out of date. This guide shares a simple way to plan ahead, and we add access notes to our listings whenever an organizer or venue publishes them.
What this guide does not do. Spotted something wrong or missing? Tell us and we will update it.
Access checklist
- Is there a step-free entrance, and where is it?
- Where is accessible parking or drop-off?
- Are there accessible restrooms?
- Is seating available, and can it be reserved?
- Are there quieter times or sensory-friendly options?
- Are service animals welcome?
Part 1: Check the listing
Many of our event and place listings include accessibility notes from the organizer or venue. Look for them in the details before you go.
Part 2: Call ahead
The venue is the best source. A short call or email to confirm the checklist above can save a wasted trip, and it helps venues see that access matters.
Part 3: Plan the day
Build in extra time for parking and entry, check the weather for outdoor plans, and have a backup nearby in case something does not work out.
